When California Dream Builders were contacted about a home remodeling opportunity in the historical Rose Garden neighborhood located in the Silicon Valley, they knew their expertise would be put to the test. This neighborhood, despite the modernization, is known for its abundance of historical architecture. While the homeowners wanted a more modern look, they also wanted to ensure the home’s character was preserved.
One look inside this home and you’re immediately drawn to the newly remodeled kitchen. The modern kitchen certainly takes center stage in the house and is fit for a gourmet to cook. With added square footage to open up this area, the room features stunning granite countertops throughout, custom cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances that are as beautiful as they are functional. Hardwood flooring was added to complement the rest of the home.
The remodel also included the addition of 350-square feet to the family room, providing a spacious living area that is ideal for entertaining. And, the laundry room was relocated to provide a larger room to accommodate a washer and dryer with enough space to keep the space organized.
