California Dream Builders were contracted for a second phase remodel with the task of “bringing a more open feel” to the home. Previously, the homeowners had updated their master bedroom and bathroom and were now looking at renovating the family room and kitchen areas and incorporating a country living theme throughout.
In order to achieve the open, country living concept, California Dream Builders removed a load-bearing wall to create an open design between the living room and kitchen areas – emphasizing an easy and spacious living area. This creates a sense of space but with a closeness making conversation between the areas comfortable. The kitchen was updated with custom cabinets, countertops, appliances and flooring to complement the quality workmanship. A half-bath was relocated to an area off the kitchen to coincide with the flow of the house design.
Through their designing and remodeling expertise, California Dream Builders created a living area that is a stunning combination of function and beauty and is sure to become the heart of the home.
