Lead Carpenter/Project Foreman

Located in San Jose, CA, California Dream Builders specializes in fine quality new home building and remodels.  Our project managers are capable of assisting home owners throughout the building process including directing production, supervising field employees, sub-contractors and vendors for all of residential projects.  Projects range from small remodels to whole house renovations and new homes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years experience in all phases of carpentry from framing to finish
  • Ability to read plans thoroughly
  • Be detailed orientated while being able to understand and see the big picture
  • Dress and conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner
  • Be able to interact and work well with all types of personalities including crew, subs, clients, and owner
  • Be able to lead & manage a small crew and supervise sub-contractors
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be a quality craftsman
  • Be a quick thinker with a driven, hands on, make it happen attitude
  • Demonstrate good planning/organizational skills with the ability to work in a clean and safe manner
  • Have experience dealing with construction companies and materials
  • Be able to work independently
